Percy Eugene Foreman (June 21, 1902 - August 25, 1988) is a criminal defense lawyer from Houston, Texas. Various sources indicate that Foreman was born near Bold Springs, Texas or Cold Springs, Texas. Foreman moved to Livingston, Texas when he was six years old. He is the son of Ransom Parson Hill Foreman, former sheriff of Polk County, Texas. Percy Foreman attended the Staunton Military Academy in Virginia for a year, graduated from the University of Texas Law School in 1927, and was admitted to the Texas Bar on January 17, 1928. He later became one of the most renowned court lawyers in the US.
Foreman is a respected tactician. He lost only 53 of the 1,500 death sentences and only one case resulted in the execution (Steve Mitchell, electrocuted in Texas in 1951).
Foreman's clients include General Edwin Walker, James Earl Ray, [4] Charles Harrelson, Candy Mossler and various organized crime kingpins.
Jack Ruby asked Foreman to represent him after he shot Lee Harvey Oswald.
Renowned defense lawyers Richard Haynes and Dick DeGuerin both worked with Foreman early in their careers and regarded him as a mentor.

Her sister Carrin Foreman was the superintendent of the Land Independent Land School District from 1924 to 1930. When she married she gave up her position. He died on March 1, 1932 because of childbirth.
