History
Established in 1994, Yale Center for Environmental Law & amp; Policy is a joint initiative between Yale School of Forestry & amp; Environmental Studies and Yale Law School.
Yale School of Forestry & amp; Environmental Studies, founded in 1900 by Gifford Pinchot, the first director of the US Forest Service, helped launch the conservation and resource management movement in the early 1900s. School graduates have provided sustainable leadership in the field of natural and environmental resources, both domestically and internationally.
