In US law education, accelerated JD Program may refer to any of the following:
- The "3 JD" or "BA to JD program" program is a program in which students combine certain requirements of a bachelor's degree (usually BA) with the degree requirements of Juris Doctor. Students thus usually receive their bachelor's degree after completing the first year of law school. Typically, students complete two degrees in six years rather than the usual seven years. Undergraduate colleges and law schools can be either an independent institution, or part of a large university. Accelerated JD programs differ from most double degree programs in different degrees, and are obtained sequentially rather than simultaneously. Requirements for admissions to such programs are usually higher than general enrollment. Some programs further restrict enrollment for students in the primary prelaw area.
- The "2-year JD Program" is a Juris Doctor degree offered independently of a bachelor's degree. Typically, students are required to fill the same credit hour amount as a traditional three-year JD student, but in a more crowded period.
US. News & amp; World Report states that as a result of student concerns about time and costs (both in terms of tuition and opportunity costs related to the above salary for three years) required to complete a law degree, there has been a tendency to develop the program Accelerated JD.

Unless otherwise stated, all students entering the JD program are accelerated early in the summer school. In the Southwest Law, summer starts in June; at another school listed, the summer term starts in May.
Starting in May/June of most accelerated programs is compatible with a bar inspection schedule of all US jurisdictions. Bar exams throughout the US took place during the week that contained the last Wednesday in July; almost all jurisdictions also offer exams during the week containing the last Wednesday in February. January start date Washburn is compatible with the February exam.
