New York University Law School is a New York University law school. Founded in 1835, it is the oldest law school in New York City. Schools offer J.D., LL.M., and J.S.D. degree in law, and is located in Greenwich Village, in downtown Manhattan.

The Akil-Tilden-Kern Faculty of Law Scholarship Program is a full scholarship awarded annually to twenty students who are committed to public services.
NYU Law offers scholarships to students accepted at the LLM Program. The Hauser Global Scholarship recognizes eight to ten top LLM students from around the world. The scholarship includes full tuition and reasonable accommodation fees. In addition, he offers Hugo Grotius as well as Vanderbilt scholarships for the study of international law and other branches of law.
The School has a law and business program in which eight students-leaders in law and business are awarded a scholarship in the Jacobson Mitchell Leadership Program. LL.M. in the Taxation Program
LL.M is an acronym for the Master of Laws, an advanced academic degree, pursued by those holding a professional law degree. In general, there are two types of LL.M. program in the United States. The majority are programs designed to expose foreign law graduates to American Common Law. Other programs involve post-doctoral studies in specialized law fields such as Admiralty, Tax Law, Banking and Financial Law, Elder Law, Aeronautical Law or International Law.
LL.M Law School from LL.M. in Taxation and in the International Taxation program has been consistently ranked # 1 by US. News & amp; World Report as they began to enroll in a special law school program in 1992. Joshua D. Blank is currently the program's faculty director.
LL.M. Student taxes are permitted to enroll in public study programs or specialize in specific areas such as business taxation or housing planning. Many of these program professors are practitioners in their respective fields.
Partnership
NYU has implemented a joint LLU/Osgoode LLM/LLM program in which graduates are awarded LLB and LLM from NYU in just 3 and a half years instead of the four that are normally required. Recently, NYU School of Law has signed a double degree agreement similar to the Law Faculty of the National University of Singapore and the Law Faculty of the University of Melbourne.
Oxford University has an academic exchange program with the New York University School of Law, mainly involving faculty members and research students working in areas of common interest.
NYU Law offers a dual-degree program with Harvard John Kennedy School of Government. Students may obtain JD/MPA or JD/MPP.
NYU Law offers a dual-degree program with Princeton Woodrow Wilson's School of Public and International Affairs. Students can obtain JD/MPA.
There is also a limited number of cross-enrollments allowed with Columbia Law School. Every year, a limited number of students are allowed to take classes in their respective schools. Columbia Law and NYU Law also play a basketball game every spring, the Deans' Cup, to raise money for public and community service organizations.

Admission to New York University Law School is very competitive. For classes entering in autumn 2012, 28% of applicants (1,783 of 6,392) are offered entry, with 451 matriculations for 25% results. The percentages of LSAT 25 and 75 for incoming classes 2015 were 166 and 171, respectively, with a median of 169. The percentages of GPA 25 and 75 were 3.6 and 3.9 respectively, with a median of 3.8.

Furman Hall
Located on West 3rd Street between Sullivan and Thompson Streets, and at Sullivan and Thompson Streets between West 3rd and West 4th Streets, Furman Hall opened on January 22, 2004 and was named for alumni and donor Jay Furman. It's connected to Vanderbilt Hall via a legal library, which is partly under Sullivan Street. The underground level also hosts the Lawyer faculty. The third floor has a classroom, a sitting room, and a study room. The fourth floor hosts the career counseling program, and the fifth and sixth floor houses a legal practice clinic. The highest floors, generally not accessible to non-residents, are apartments for faculty and their families. The ninth floor is accessible to students and hosts the Lester Pollack Colloquium room.
The facade of West 3rd Street incorporates the remaining sections of the townhouse facade that Edgar Allan Poe lived in 1844-1846, near the site where the house originally stood, the result of a settlement between NYU and preservationists who objected to the 2000 university planning to knock down the building, which had already lost two stories from the time Poe lived there.
Vanderbilt Hall
The main building of the Faculty of Law, named after Arthur T. Vanderbilt, occupies the entire block between West Third and Washington Square South and between Macdougal and Sullivan Streets. Parts of the first floor and underground floors host the library, which is shared with Furman Hall. The first floor also holds an auditorium, student center, and main banquet hall. The second floor is mostly classrooms, while the third and fourth floors are mostly faculty offices and deans.
Hayden Hall Residence
Located at 240 Mercer Street, on the south side of West Third Street, adjacent to Broadway, and several blocks east of D'Agostino Hall, Wilf Hall, Furman Hall and Vanderbilt Hall, Hayden Hall houses about 500 Law students and faculty. The basement is home to the "Mercer Pub" (a room with couches, tables, and a small kitchen that can also be ordered by student groups for social events) and some student-run organizations. Hayden is available for summer housing for non-NYU Law students through the Summer Living program in New York.
D'Agostino Residence Hall
Located at the intersection of West Third Street and MacDougal Street in Greenwich Village, D'Agostino Residence Hall houses about 300 law students and faculty. It's across the street from the back of the main law school building, Vanderbilt Hall, and less than 1 block from Wilf Hall and Furman Hall.
The elevators to the apartments are at the highest level, the Front Desk is on the street level, and The Commons (residents lounge with computers and printers) are on the lower level. One floor under The Commons is a sub-cellar, home to most of NYU's law journals. Second floor (above ground), home of many administrative offices (Development, Alumni Relations, Special Events, Communications, Human Resources and Financial Services). Two large event halls - Lipton Hall and Faculty Club - are also located inside the building.
This law building is named after Filomen D'Agostino, one of the first female lawyers, who graduated in 1920. Later, Ms. D'Agostino donated $ 4 million to support housing scholarships and faculty research; schools respond by naming their new apartment building after him.
D'Agostino Hall is also available for summer housing for NYU Law students through the Summer Living program in New York.
22 Washington Square North
22 Washington Square North, located in the historic townhouse of 1830 on the north side of Washington Square Park in "The Row", where the Straus Institute for Advanced Study of Law & amp; Justice, Jean Monnet Center for International and Regional Economic Law & amp; Justice, and the Tikvah Center for Law & amp; Jewish civilization. The building was renovated in 2009 by Morris Adjmi Architects, has a green wall, and must meet LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environment) standards.
Wilf Hall
Wilf Hall, on 139 Macdougal Street, houses about a dozen school centers, programs and institutes and admissions offices (Graduate and JD). According to NYU Law Magazine, it was "a campus destination for faculty, student, and research students from various disciplines to exchange ideas and, through their work, form the public discourse around the leading social and political issues of the day."
Wilf Hall also contains the Provincetown Playhouse. Playhouse opened in the 1920s and aired many of Eugene O'Neil's dramas. The theater is run by NYU Steinhardt School of Education. The building was designed by Morris Adjmi Architects.
