Biography

Fagen was born in Brooklyn, New York. He got a B.A. from Yale College in 1971. He went on to accept the J.D. from the Columbia School of Law in 1974. He worked for Judge Jack B. Weinstein in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Fagen has been Paul Weiss's partner since 1982.

Fagen is a senior partner in the Litigation Department of international law firms Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & amp; Garrison LLP. He has filed a lawsuit on behalf of the plaintiff and defendant for over 35 years, dealing with his client's most complicated civil litigation problem.

Fagen is recognized for its extensive experience in general commercial litigation across a wide range of legal disciplines, including antitrust, securities, intellectual property, product liability, real estate, trust and estate, and insurance issues. He is listed as a leading attorney in Commercial Litigation by Chambers USA, Chambers Global, The International Who's Who of Business Lawyers and Lawdragon 500.
