Dentons is a decentralized multinational law firm rated by Acritas as one of the top 20 global Elite law firms. It is the 8th largest law firm in the world with the largest income and law firm in the world by a number of lawyers. The company is called Dentons in all languages ​​other than Chinese, where is it called ?? (Dacheng).
Dentons was founded in March 2013 by the incorporation of SNR Denton, Fraser Milner Casgrain and Salans. After the merger with the Dacheng Chinese law firm in November 2015, Dentons became the world's largest law firm by a number of lawyers and has the most offices of any law firm in the world, covering every continent.
By 2018, Dentons operates in more than 50 countries, has more than 150 offices, and employs some 7,700 lawyers. The company is polisentris and therefore has no headquarters, although the company's senior leadership is primarily based in Beijing, London and Washington D.C.

History
On Nov. 11, 2012, Canada-based SNR Denton, Salans and Fraser Milner Casgrain announced a three-way incorporation, forming a new, structured law firm as Swiss Verein and named Dentons. The partners of the three companies ratified the merger on November 28, 2012, and completed on March 28, 2013. Dentons opened an office in Houston, Texas in September 2013.
On January 26, 2015, Dentons announced that it joined the Chinese company, Dacheng (China: ?? ) completed in November 2015. The new company is called ?? in Chinese, and called Dentons in other languages. Logo features Chinese characters for Dacheng globally, with writing ?? Dentons. After the Dacheng combination, the Dentons surpassed Baker & amp; McKenzie and DLA Piper, the world's top law firm by number of employees, by at least 2,500 lawyers.
2015 sees some other major regional expansion for the company. In April, the US Dentons agreed to merge with Atlanta McKenna Long & amp; Aldridge completed in June of that year. The company also opened new offices in Hungary, Luxembourg, Singapore and South Africa during 2015 and announced a combination with companies in Australia, Colombia, and Mexico. The company also launched Nextlaw Labs, a business accelerator focused on investing, developing and deploying new technologies to change legal practice, in May 2015. Dentons also announced in November 2016 that it would be the first global law firm to trace Central America by combining with MuÃÆ' Â ± oz Global, adding offices in Panama, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
In December 2016, the Dentons were launched in Australia and Papua New Guinea by combining with leading Belgian law firm Gadens. Offices in Sydney, Perth and Port Moresby at Gadens join the Dentons, while the Adelaide and Brisbane offices are "association offices" and the Melbourne office remains independent. The Gadens combination of Dentons has approximately 7,600 lawyers serving 57 countries.
In 2017, Costa Rica's law firm of MuÃÆ'  ± oz Global was combined with the Dentons and, thus, the MuÃÆ'  ± oz Dentons were created. Dentons MuÃÆ'  ± oz are dentists of Costa Rica and Central America. Dentons MuÃÆ' ± oz currently has offices in Costa Rica (cities of San Josà © and Liberia), PanamÃÆ'¡ (Panama City), and Guatemala (Guatemala City). In 2017, the company formed a strategic alliance with the opposition research firm Definers Public Affairs, dubbed Global 3D Affairs. On April 12, 2018, Denton announced seven new partnerships in Kenya, Mauritius, the Caribbean, Indonesia and Malaysia.
